Derrick McCarley

Derrick McCarley is the Vice President of Operations and Information Technology. He is in charge of keeping Lee Truck Broker functioning physically and legally. In today's technology based industry, Derrick makes sure that the tools needed to function efficiently and effectively are operating above the norm. He has been neck deep in transportation industry since before graduating high school, and has been responsible for every computer based implementation process at Lee since 1997. He is knowledgeable in both the technology and legal aspects of third party logistics, and is also responsible for maintaining legal and ethical principles within each division of Lee Truck Broker.

Derrick, a family member, began his tenure at Lee Truck Broker riding shotgun on a Lee's Inc. truck, hauling the very freight that is still hauled by Lee today. It was imperative to the owners that he directly experience the minute details of the trucking industry and understand exactly what occurs at the other end of the phone line. Sitting next to Randy for over 10 years, Derrick has learned the ropes of transportation first hand. You will find that Derrick, like Randy, Grant, and Brandon is deeply dedicated to his Heavenly Father and performing business in a manner that would please Him!
